It’s been a busy few weeks for Sanford Seminole linebacker DeMarco "D.J." Artis, but he’s finally decided on a college destination.
After an official visit to Baylor, a decommitment from FSU and another trip to Oregon this past weekend, Artis announced on his Twitter account @DemarcoArtis33 on Tuesday night that he will be signing with Baylor on Wednesday, National Signing Day.
Artis, who went silent after parting ways with FSU, to which he committed last August after a decommitment from UCF, said two weeks ago that he "loved" his visit to Baylor. It was apparently enough to win him over, despite efforts by Oregon to overwhelm him during the visit this past weekend.

Artis had a big senior season, during which Seminole fell one game shy of advancing to the Class 8A state championship with a double-overtime loss to Orlando Dr. Phillips.
On the year, Artis had 52 tackles, 16 tackles for loss and six sacks.
