HONGQI has signed a letter of intent for cooperation with Ekornes | IMG Comfort, with the objective of effectively leveraging complementary resources, enhancing the core marketing competitiveness of both entities and jointly developing co-branded products covering furniture and automotive peripherals. Since its founding by Jens Ekornes in 1934, Ekornes is Norway’s largest furniture manufacturer, with 8 production bases and more than 6,000 sales points worldwide. Leveraging Ekornes’ extensive reach, HONGQI aims to strengthen joint online and offline promotional efforts, ensuring broader audience coverage and greater market resources. In particular, Ekornes is very popular in Norway, with one STRESSLESS recliner for every four people.
