This jingle made thousands of capital residents sing and dance to the rhythm of mariachi, norteño, marimba, and even organillo. The surprise was seeing adults and children recognize this melody.
Thus, the central squares of Coyoacán, Alameda, Tlalpan and Santa María la Ribera witnessed that, after decades, this happy melody continues in the hearts of all Mexicans.
To celebrate its 90 years, Del Fuerte®, a Mexican company that manufactures ground tomatoes, launched its anniversary version of “Los tomatitos contentitos…”, making people recognize and reconnect with this tune that is so representative of the brand.
