SHANGHAI, Nov. 8, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — The 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) will be held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10. For the first time, the Lin-gang area has taken on a new role as exhibitor recruitment partner of the CIIE Intelligent Industry and Information Technology Hall (Hall 3), which is the most technology-intensive area of the fair China’s largest annual import trade.
The 2,700 square meter Lin-gang Exhibition Area was jointly organized by the administrative committee of China (Shanghai) Lin-gang Special Area Pilot Free Trade Zone (“Lin-gang Special Area”) and Shanghai Lingang Economic Development (Group) Co., Ltd. (“Lingang Group”).
Nearly 100 foreign companies, most of which operate in parks operated by Lingang Group, showcase new technologies, new business formats and new business models that these companies have brought to China and contributed to the high-quality development of both themselves and the country. .
Showcasing the latest achievements in Sino-foreign cooperation
With the theme “Linking the world with openness, shaping the future with cooperation”, Ling-gang Exhibition Area is the first comprehensive exhibition area for companies participating in CIIE through industrial clusters, where nearly 100 companies with foreign financing they made a collective appearance.
The area shows notable achievements of the Lin-gang Special Area management committee and Lingang Group in recent years, including bringing to life the spirit of international cooperation (enterprises related to the China-Laos Mohan-Boten Economic Cooperation Zone), accelerating the sustainable development (such as cross-border remanufacturing (referring to the reconstruction of a product according to the specifications of the original product manufactured using a combination of reused, repaired and new parts) and hydrogen energy industries), promoting the opening of service industries ( such as digital trade, technology trade and reinsurance industries) and improve the business environment.

During this CIIE, the Lin-gang Exhibition Area will host nearly 100 high-level events, including signing ceremonies, results launches, international exchanges, industry seminars and global roadshows. Most notable include the Johnson Controls – Hitachi Air Conditioning Group Strategic Cooperation Agreement Signing Ceremony, the Shanghai North American Carbon Neutrality and Clean Technology Cooperation Summit, and the Sustainable Development Forum Joining Hands Towards the Future – AXA.
