MADRID, 16 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Alcampo will hire more than 900 workers to fill vacancies and strengthen the teams for the next Christmas campaign, according to the distribution chain in a statement.
Specifically, the supermarket chain will incorporate these workers into its stores, most of them hypermarkets, to carry out their work in replenishment, sales, traditional counters and checkout positions.
The incorporation of personnel is expected to begin at the end of this month of October and will be gradual depending on the needs of each center.
By autonomous community, the majority of those hired, around 160 vacancies, will be filled in Madrid, followed by around 120 in Andalusia, Catalonia and Aragon; between 60 and 70 in the Valencian Community, the Basque Country and Galicia, 50 in the Canary Islands and around 20 in Asturias, the Balearic Islands, Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León, Murcia, Navarra and La Rioja.
In this way, the vacancies will be made public in the ‘Work with us’ section of the website www.alcampocorporativo.es.
Alcampo has 529 stores in Spain, these being 80 hypermarkets and small hypermarkets and 449 supermarkets (128 of them franchised) as well as 52 gas stations, an online commerce service.
