NANCHANG, China, Sept. 26, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — The “Jiangxi Day” event was recently held at the China Cultural Center in Sofia, capital of Bulgaria. This event was organized by the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism with the theme “a moment to share” and “unique landscapes of Jiangxi”. Activities with Jiangxi characteristics, such as a photography exhibition, an exhibition of porcelain products made in Jingdezhen City, traditional Gan opera and Chinese tea ceremony, provided rich cultural exchange experiences for representatives and locals.
Accompanied by the performance of classical Jiangxi folk songs, traditional Gan opera and Bulgarian songs, the “Jiangxi Day” event began in Bulgaria. A variety of activities including a photo exhibition, live experiences and cultural exchange helped Bulgarians learn more about openness and development, beautiful landscapes and culture characterized in Jiangxi and promoted communication between the two places.
Ye Jianchun, governor of Jiangxi Province, said that since Jiangxi and Sofia County officially established a twinning relationship in December 2020, cooperation and exchanges between them have continued to expand and people-to-people friendship has continued to deepen. He hopes the event will further enhance friendly exchanges and cooperation between the two sides.
During the event, a memorandum was signed between Sofia District and Jiangxi Province, stating to take advantage of their advantages and deepen economic, trade, agricultural, cultural and tourism cooperation between the two sides.
