BARCELONA, 4 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Vidrala has begun installing solar panels at its plant in Castellar del Vallès (Barcelona) with which it plans to produce up to 8,000 MWh per year, it explained in a statement on Friday.
According to the company, this installation will reduce 2,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year, and has more than 1,900 photovoltaic modules with a power of up to 6 MWp.
The initiative is part of the decarbonization and energy efficiency plan launched by the Vidrala Group, with the aim of reducing dependence on fossil energy, promoting self-consumption and improving energy efficiency.
