The Ibex 35 has started the session this Tuesday with a slight decrease of 0.07%, which has led the selective to 9,537.19 points, pending business results and the publication of some macro data and waiting for the monetary policy meetings that will be held this week by the Federal Reserve (Fed) and the European Central Bank (ECB).

Before the opening of the market, Applus has announced that it obtained a net profit of 26.4 million euros in the first half of the year, a figure 21.4% higher than that of the same period in 2022, when its profits were 21.8 million euros.

This Tuesday, the markets will also remain attentive to the publication of business confidence data for Germany from the Munich Institute for Economic Research (Ifo).

In the early stages of this session, the biggest increases within the Ibex 35 were recorded by ArcelorMittal (2.46%), Logista (0.97%), Aena (0.88%) and Bankinter (0.59%), while on the other side the steepest declines were recorded by Solaria (-1.52%), Naturgy (-1.23%), Cellnex Telecom (-1.14%) and Indi text (-1.09%).

The main European stock markets opened this Tuesday with a positive sign: 0.29% for Milan, 0.25% for London, 0.14% for Paris and 0.03% for Frankfurt.

At the opening of the stock market, the price of a barrel of Brent quality oil, a reference for the Old Continent, rose 0.29%, to 82.72 dollars, while Texas stood at 79.02 dollars, 0.36% more.

In the currency market, the price of the euro against the dollar stood at 1.1079 ‘green bills’, while the Spanish risk premium was around 104.2 basis points, with the interest required on the 10-year bond at 3.465%.
