The new center for networking and haute cuisine in Madrid reopens after a thorough renovation coinciding with the 50th anniversary of its constitution
The assembly of members of Club Financiero Génova (CFG) has unanimously ratified the renewal of Arturo de las Heras as president of the Board of Directors for four more years, during which he has been entrusted with the mission of strengthening it as a meeting point for the sector business, financial and political in Spain. The Génova Financial Club, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, reopened this year after a remodeling that has turned its facilities into an exclusive center for business, networking and haute cuisine. Its privileged location, in the heart of the financial, cultural and artistic district of Madrid, also makes it a benchmark in Madrid’s social life. With the renewed collaboration proposal with Azotea Grupo and Familia La Ancha, the essence of the club experience for its partners will remain intact by preserving the slogans of exclusivity and uniqueness, understood in a contemporary way. The remodeling of floors 14 and 15, which includes more than 2,500 square meters of surface area, has been carried out by Alejandra Pombo’s studio. At the same time, with the start-up of the new project, the Club’s activities are expanded , so that the cultural, social and business agenda is enriched. This schedule of events has a direct consequence on the creation of new jobs, since the opening hours will be increased and its opening will be extended to weekends. In the words of Arturo de las Heras, president of Club Financiero Génova, “the opens a new stage in the life of the Club in order to recover the values that have always graced it, modernizing it and bringing it into the 21st century”. The restaurant service management agreement between Azotea Grupo and Familia La Ancha contemplates the leadership of the kitchens by Nino Redruello and his team. Manuel Berganza, executive chef of Azotea Grupo, is responsible for designing the gastronomic proposal for the events, while the cocktail bar is coordinated by Luca Anastasio, director of Bars and Mixology at Azotea Grupo. Alba Moro, sommelier of Familia La Ancha, will be in charge of selecting the wine list.
