The Insurance and Assistance company celebrates a new edition of its Solidarity Padel Tournament, collaborating with the non-profit organization World Vision which, thanks to this initiative, will allocate 45,000 euros to food in regions at extreme risk of famine

After the success of the first event held last year and with the aim of continuing to promote actions that generate a positive impact and support the community, Allianz Partners has organized its II Solidarity Padel Tournament. On this occasion, the insurance and Assistance has decided to collaborate with World Vision, a non-profit organization that already last year declared a food emergency in 25 countries and for which more than 45 million people in the world are on the brink of starvation.”Conflicts, COVID-19 and climate change are constantly fueling this crisis.Conflicts in places like Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Somalia, and South Sudan are displacing thousands of people, preventing the passage of food, and paralyzing agriculture and harvests. “Climatic climate is causing damaging droughts and flash floods that ruin crops. Tens of millions of people now eat less nutritious food, less frequently and often have nothing to eat,” explains Eloísa Molina, Communications Director for World Vision The proceeds from the tournament are integrated into the United Nations World Food Program that World Vision manages to guarantee the distribution of food in Somalia, South Sudan and Lebanon and that multiplies each euro by 45 in food. In total, World Vision will deliver food worth 45,000 euros, thanks to this initiative.”We are very proud that, on this occasion, our Solidarity Padel Tournament is held in favor of World Vision and supports a project as necessary as the one that For me it is a very special event where we enjoy good company with our collaborators and Partners and practice sports, also for a good cause”, said Borja Díaz, CEO of Allianz Partners.
