MADRID, 4 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The price per square meter of used housing stood at 2,057 euros in June, 6.77% more expensive than in the same month of 2022, according to data published this Tuesday in the semi-annual report on sale prices of pisos.com .
In the semi-annual rate, the average price of second-hand housing increased by 3.67%, while the monthly increase was 0.19%, since in May the cost per square meter was 2,053 euros.
Despite the “cooling off” of the mortgage market, house prices continue their upward path “imperturbably”, according to the director of Estudios de pisos.com, Ferran Font, who expects that it will be from the second half of the year when housing stops “stepping on the accelerator”.
The autonomous community that produced the highest prices per square meter in June 2023 was the Balearic Islands, with 4,076 euros per square meter, while the cheapest was Extremadura, with 814 euros per square meter.
Likewise, the Valencian Community (7.65%), the Balearic Islands (7.44%) and Murcia (6.78%) registered the most pronounced half-yearly increases. There were no adjustments.
