The well-known and old winery of the Cigales designation of origin, received the award granted by the prestigious European Association of Industry, Technology and Innovation
On June 16, the European Awards for World Gastronomy were awarded at a gala held at the Marriott Auditorium hotel in Madrid. The ceremony was presented by the journalist and writer Pilar Carrizosa. She received the award in the centenary winery category, The Remigio de Salas Jalón Winery. Currently, Amada de Salas manages the entire winery. This winery produces wine with the Cigales designation of origin. Thanks to the tremendous passion for this family, in love with wine made from grapes, one of the best vineyard plantations in Castilla y León, both for its quality and for the variety of its fruits. In addition, they say that they are one of the largest plantations in the country that are still preserved. And with great effort, Las Luceras came into their hands, a collection of wines made exclusively with their own vineyards and with those that the winery has harvested in the It has been a great success in recent years, both nationally and internationally. The European Award for World Gastronomy has been established, in order to recognize the companies and freelancers that make gastronomy great, and of course a good gastronomy must have a good pairing with a good wine. The European Association of Industry, Technology and Innovation, known as AEITI, was founded in 2019, with the aim of help and support Spanish companies in their competitiveness in Europe and the world, despite the pandemic they have managed to move forward, on December 26, 2021, they signed a mutual collaboration agreement with the Chinese Association, EU China, science, technology committee, in which the European Union and the Chinese government participate, based on the collaboration agreement signed in 2017 between the Chinese government and the EU.
