The XII national final of Young Business Talents has brought together a total of 346 young people from 79 educational centers throughout Spain -students in the 4th year of ESO, Baccalaureate or intermediate or higher grade training cycles-, who have become authentic managers and have had to analyze and make decisions in real time, on different situations related to the business environment. To do this, they have had to define their business strategy taking the competition into account, demonstrate leadership skills, teamwork, good communication between them and great organizational skills.

“During the final we were able to meet the future businessmen who will lead the companies in our country. The participants have had the opportunity to experience first-hand how day-to-day life is lived within a company and have shown great vision and business skills by carrying out brilliant business strategies with very good results, which could be an example for many real companies in our country. With this educational program, we ensure that young people benefit from new learning tools that allow them to put into practice the theory learned in class in a playful way, while helping them to orient themselves for their academic and professional future”, explains Mario Martínez, director of the Young Business Talents educational program.

This national final puts the finishing touch to a complete educational program that began last November and has had the participation of a total of 10,634 students from 389 educational centers throughout Spain. All the young people have competed virtually from the classroom and with the help of their teachers, overcoming different phases online to get a place in the final.

So that they could participate, a sophisticated business simulator, developed by Praxis MMT, with a value of more than 3,000 euros each, has been provided free of charge to the schools. With this business simulation training program, the opportunity is given to enrich the didactic activity in the classroom through practice and for young people to gain experience in a playful and motivating way.
