MADRID, 13 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Revolut today announced the new shared bank account product, Joint Accounts for all customers in the European Economic Area (EEA).

In a statement, it points out that this product allows users to create an additional account within the ‘app’ to be jointly owned by two people, whether they are couples, family members or friends. This new functionality is part of the new 9.0 UX update that is now available, which also includes a group version of the app’s instant messaging tool.

To open joint accounts, both people must be Revolut customers and have the app updated to the version that supports the Joint Accounts feature.

In addition, both individuals must share the same country in which their personal accounts are registered, the same Revolut entity or branch (personal account registration entity), and cannot be part of another joint company account — or have an invitation pending for a joint account of another person–.
