The second vice president and Minister of Labor and Social Economy, Yolanda Díaz, announced this Monday that the unemployment and affiliation data for March “are going to be positive.”
Díaz, in statements to TVE collected by Europa Press, stressed that although Spain has a “very relevant” figure for unemployment, the data for March, which will be released tomorrow, will be “positive”.
The latest unemployment data published, corresponding to the month of February, showed an increase in the number of unemployed registered at the offices of the public employment services of 2,618 people.
The Ministry of Labor will release the registered unemployment statistics on Tuesday at 9:00 am. In March 2022, with the start of the war in Ukraine, unemployment fell by 2,921 people.
Also at 9:00 am tomorrow the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migrations will publish the affiliation data for the month of March.
