The Ibex 35 has started the session this Friday with a rise of 0.42%, which has led the selective to consolidate the level of 9,200 points, in a day in which investors will be awaiting the holding of the meetings of shareholders of Telefónica, CaixaBank and Banco Santander.

The markets will also be attentive today to the appearance of the president of the European Central Bank (ECB), Christine Lagarde, before the European Council, as well as to the publication of the advanced CPI for the month of March for the euro area.

After closing yesterday at 9,207.1 points and recovering part of the ground lost due to the financial turbulence of Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) and Credit Suisse, which led the Madrid selective to fall to 8,500 integers on March 20, the Ibex 35 it began the session this Friday at 9,245.97 integers, with the main European stock markets also in green.

In the early stages of the session this Friday, the biggest increases were recorded by IAG (2.85%), Fluidra (1.24%), Meliá Hotels (0.51%) and Solaria (0.17%), while on the opposite side were Enagás (-0.17%) and Logista (-0.09%).

The rest of the European stock markets opened with increases of 0.17% for Paris, 0.16% for Frankfurt, 0.14% for Milan, and 0.08% for London.

At the opening of the stock market, the price of a barrel of Brent quality oil, a reference for the Old Continent, rose 0.03%, to 78.62 dollars, while Texas stood at 74.54 dollars, a 0.23% more.

In the foreign exchange market, the price of the euro against the dollar stood at 1.0907 ‘green bills’, while the risk premium was around 102.3 basis points, with the interest required on the 10-year bond in 3.401%.
