MADRID, 27 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

CorporaciĆ³n Financiera Alba, the ‘investor arm’ of Banca March, has issued 1,005,174 new shares that have been admitted to trading this Tuesday on the Madrid, Barcelona and Bilbao Stock Markets as a result of the execution of the capital increase agreed by its Extraordinary General Shareholders’ Meeting to implement a scrip dividend system.

This has been stated by the company in a communication to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV). The Board agreed to carry out this capital increase entirely charged to the entity’s voluntary reserves account, whose balance amounted to 3,890 million euros as of June 30, 2022, and that it would be done through the issuance of new ordinary shares of the same class and series than those currently in circulation, with a par value of 1 euro each.

The maximum reference market value of the capital increase is 58,240,000 euros. In the theoretical case that no shareholder chose to sell their rights to the company, the execution of the operation would determine a capital increase of approximately 2.1739%.

At 10.20 am, the firm’s shares were trading at 43.25 euros, 0.46% less than last Friday.
