This is what a recent Ipsos poll conducted on behalf of Global News suggests.
Nearly 61% of respondents also believe that misinformation has a better chance of spreading on Twitter since the change in direction put in place by Musk.

Older generations are also more worried about the ability of social media to spread misinformation, a situation that concerns younger people a little less.
The survey was conducted among 1,001 Canadians aged 18 and older, between November 10 and November 16, 2022.
