Continuing with its commitment to innovation as a strength and as one of the levers for creating value of the FCC Group, the company’s Information Systems and Technology Division has held an Innovation Conference promoted by its Digital Innovation Lab (DI_Lab) .DI_lab is an ideas laboratory focused on improving the efficiency of company processes through digital transformation, adding value to businesses and improving agility when it comes to identifying and understanding the current and future challenges of the digital world. The main objective of this initiative is to generate knowledge synergies to promote innovation, technology and digitization and implement solutions that are desirable, feasible and viable to facilitate the adoption of innovative digital processes that solve challenges and, consequently, improve products and services. company services; and also promote an ecosystem of innovation open to institutional actors and external collaborators. This conference focused on showing initiatives based on virtual/augmented reality, process automation, industry 4.0, artificial intelligence and metaverse. In addition, it has made it possible to display important proofs of concept or prototypes that will allow possible solutions to a specific challenge to be validated quickly and failures detected much earlier than with traditional methodologies (“fail fast”). Currently, within the FCC Group, They have developed pilot tests for the use of the metaverse in communication activities, development of events, virtual meetings, etc. In the near future, the company hopes to be able to extend these pilots to more work areas of the company.
