MADRID, 2 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The CEO of Uber Technologies, Dara Khosrowshahi, has assured that the platform is not considering cutting jobs, even when competitors such as DoorDash or Lyft are adjusting their templates due to economic uncertainty.
“No, we’re in a good place,” Khosrowshahi told Bloomberg News, responding to a question about whether the ride-sharing giant will downsize. However, Khosrowshahi noted that Uber is taking a more conservative stance on hiring and investment.
A month ago, Lyft, a competitor to Uber, announced a cut of more than 10% of its workforce, while the food delivery company DoorDash announced the elimination of 1,250 jobs to control expenses.
Uber undertook in 2020 a staff adjustment that meant the reduction of thousands of jobs.
