The Chicago Blackhawks are actively looking to get rid of their forwards Dylan Strome and Dominik Kubalik, who could reach full autonomy on July 13.

According to what the Chicago Sun Times reported, general manager Kyle Davidson does not intend to submit qualifying offers to the 25-year-old Canadian pivot and the 26-year-old Czech winger.
This contract would be worth $3.6 million for Strome and $4 million for Kubalik.
Former seventh-round choice of the Los Angeles Kings, the latter arrived late in the National Hockey League (NHL) after playing in the Czech Republic and Switzerland. He was a Calder Trophy finalist after scoring 30 goals in his rookie season, but has seen a dizzying drop in production since then. In 2021-2022, his third season on the league, he scored just 15 goals and had 32 points in 78 games.
Strome has never reached his full potential in the NHL, struggling to demonstrate the extent of his talent with consistency. The former third overall pick in the 2015 auction still amassed 48 points in 69 games last season.
Looking to the future, Davidson indicated a few days ago that he was open to trading all of his players except those holding a no-move clause: Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews and Seth Jones.
