The federal government is preparing to announce relaxations in the health measures imposed on travelers.
Ottawa must announce in the next few hours that it will suspend the obligation to be vaccinated to take the plane and the train in the country.
This suspension should apply to domestic and international travel, but vaccination will continue to be required for non-Canadians arriving from abroad.
The Trudeau government also says it will continue to examine other health rules in transport, in particular the obligation to wear a mask on trains and planes.
Wearing a mask is no longer mandatory in public transport since Saturday in Ontario and will cease to be this Saturday in Quebec.
The Conservative opposition in Ottawa is calling for change.
