Jay Du Temple rediscovers his first love. Seven years after being named “artist of the year” at Zoofest, the comedian and host will present for 11 evenings the beginnings of his future second solo show, learned Le Journal.
Currently working on this new “more intimate, more personal” show, he will perform at La Balustrade, at the Monument-National.
Love story
For Zoofest, showcasing an artist whose popularity has skyrocketed in recent years is a big catch. Jay Du Temple will also be the only comedian of this 13th edition to do a residency there.
“There is a real love story between Jay and Zoofest. […] Its return this year means that Zoofest is as much a playground for new comedians as it is for veterans,” said festival director Isabelle Desmarais.
