A Toronto street will be named after former Raptors star Kyle Lowry, the city announced Monday.

Now a member of the Miami Heat, Lowry is one of a group of seven people who will give their name to a street in the new neighborhood of Don Mills Crossing, northeast of the Queen City.

Lowry is recognized as one of the greatest players in Raps history, having been an integral part of Team Canada’s only win of the Larry O’Brien Trophy exactly three years ago.

The Philadelphia native also holds the team record for most three-pointers (1,518), as well as assists (4,277) and steals (873).

Canadian skier Steve Podborski and former Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Mike Palmateer will also be honored.
