Designed to celebrate both our beautiful river, Quebec and the coming summer, the event Our river, our music will sow joy all in music from June 17 to 22. The series of classical concerts will travel to 14 cities and municipalities in Quebec located along the St. Lawrence River.

Presented in partnership with the Government of Quebec, this series of free concerts aimed at highlighting the Fête du Québec was imagined by Denis Chabot, producer, artistic director and double bass player. It will take the heritage and historic route of the Chemin du Roy, thus combining music, history and culture.

Spectators are invited to designated public spaces, always at the water’s edge, while exploring some of the most beautiful parks in Quebec, from Beauharnois to La Malbaie, via Île-d’Orléans, the panoramic view of parks in Verchères, Trois-Rivières, Lanoraie and Baie-Saint-Paul beach.

The Cobalt Quartet and Steven Massicotte will perform the soundtracks of films and television series from here through tables that will highlight Quebec cinematographic music and tunes from television classics such as Les pays d’en haut, Séraphin and La passion d’ Augustine.

All performances will take place on the La Caravane platform, an amplified, lit and covered mobile stage designed and manufactured in Quebec.
