Three new series will be added to Vrai’s offer by the end of the year, including “And now?”, which will land on the Videotron platform next August.
Produced by Avanti-Toast and directed by Martin Paquette, this documentary will address the emotional trajectory of five victims of sexual assault who are trying to pick up the pieces and get better. We explain in a press release that the actress Mélissa Désormeaux-Poulin will put herself in listening and benevolent mode by collecting the words of Caroline, Marie, Paul, Stéphane and Valérie about their respective journeys.
“This documentary seeks to do useful work by giving voice to victims to break the taboo and give hope as well as by offering the tools necessary to hear and support them,” it was explained.
Later this fall, Vrai will expand with content from the “Ballroom Fever” series. The only Jean-Marc Généreux of “Rvolution” will invite the public to get to know sports dance better, a competitive universe that revealed him and his wife France Mousseau. Three couples will star in this six-episode series. Everything is produced by Fair-Play and directed by Christian Lalumière.
“The pick-up pros”, another series expected this fall, will invite the curious to a repair shop for vans, some of which are large. Trio Orange and director Francis Darche have commissioned Hugo Girard to share the love of employees for the modified “pick-ups”.
Five novelties for 2023
The year 2023 will not be outdone with five new projects that will enrich Vrai, including the documentary “Avec pas de plan!”. This will follow the couple Émilie Bégin and Guillaume Lemay-Thivierge in their project to build a tiny house that respects nature.
Among the other novelties of next year, we will be interested in another day in the host of “It ends well the week”, Julie Bélanger. Stefano Faita will also take Vrai by storm, as will Fabien Cloutier, who will meet people whose daily lives are intriguing. For his part, Paul Houde will travel the United States in a motor home in search of ordinary places that have been the scene of significant events.
