The new daily ICI Télé Stat, which will replace “District 31” and star Suzanne Clément, has just announced the rest of its cast, which includes veteran comedians like Patrick Labbé, Stéphane Rousseau and Geneviève Schmidt.
The rest of the cast also includes Maxime Allard, Isabelle Blais, Normand D’Amour, Samantha Fins, Anglesh Major, Virginie Ranger-Beauregard, Ludivine Reding, Lou-Pascal Tremblay and Jean-Nicolas Verreault.
Stat will have as his playground Saint-Vincent Hospital in Montreal, where things are happening 24 hours a day. Four friends work there and see each other in their personal lives: the head of the emergency department and emergency physician Emmanuelle St-Cyr ( Suzanne Clément), psychiatrist Philippe Dupéré (Patrick Labbé), general surgeon and intensivist Isabelle Granger (Geneviève Schmidt), as well as beneficiary attendant Éric Perron (Stéphane Rousseau).
Emmanuelle suffers from the death of her spouse François, who died a year earlier in “nebulous circumstances”, according to the production. Emmanuelle’s friends are also affected by this disappearance.
Normand D’amour plays Director of Professional Services Pascal St-Cyr, Ludivine Reding and Samantha Fins are nurses Sophia St-Jean and Audrey Milord, Virginie Ranger Beauregard is social worker Delphine Martin, Anglesh Major is orthopedic surgeon Marc-Olivier Morin and Lou-Pascal Tremblay is the new emergency physician Jacob Faubert “who comes to destabilize Emmanuelle and awaken old demons”.
Lots of actors, with their situation, will come to spice up the intrigues of the daily.
The series written by Marie-André Labbé (Sans rendez-vous, Trop) and produced by Fabienne Larouche and Michel Trudeau of Aetios Productions, as well as Guillaume Lespérance of A Média.
Stat will be broadcast Monday to Thursday, at 7 p.m., starting September 12, on ICI Télé.
