The Thunderbirds have yet to lose since the start of the playoffs, winning six straight games. They sent the Charlotte Checkers on vacation by winning 5-1 on Saturday.

The St. Louis Blues farm club will have home-ice advantage in their series against the Rocket, having finished second in the Atlantic Division by virtue of a 43-24-9 record.

The “T-Birds” have no less than six players who have recorded at least one point per game since the start of the spring tournament, led by striker Sam Anas (13 points in six games).

The sky is also blue between the posts of the Springfield team, as Joel Hofer maintained a goals against average of 1.51 in four games. His backup, former Montreal Canadiens Charlie Lindgren, has shuttled between the AHL and the National Hockey League this season.

Forwards Matthew Peca and Will Bitten are the other former members of the CH organization in the ranks of the Thunderbirds.
