Our Bureau of Investigation revealed at the end of March that Sylvie Paradis, 54, had been arrested by the Sûreté du Québec after creating around fifty fake appointments on the Clic Santé platform.
This follower of conspiratorial speeches officially appeared on three counts by summary procedure, on May 10, in Matane.
According to court documents, he is accused of having “prevented, interrupted or hindered Quebecers in the legitimate use, enjoyment or exploitation of property of a value not exceeding $5,000, namely: vaccines” .
He is also accused of having committed mischief with regard to computer data, in addition to having knowingly transmitted false information.
The alleged facts allegedly occurred between December 12, 2021 and January 5, 2022, in Matane and Amqui.
Sylvie Paradis entered a plea of not guilty. The case is due back in court on August 30.

Recall that the 50-year-old had revealed the details of her alleged scheme through two publications on the social networking site Facebook, in December 2021.
The resident of Saint-Léandre, in Bas-Saint-Laurent, then claimed to make false appointments for the “COVID [sic] bite” by entering incorrect information in the reservation forms.
“So that he has the fewest appointments available [sic]”, she wrote.
Sylvie Paradis also made headlines after a report was lodged with the Sûreté du Québec in connection with another message on Facebook.
Last January, the fifties would have reacted to the publication of an image of a submachine gun, on the page of a Facebook contact.
In comments, she would have replied to this contact that he could “go to the parliament of Quebec with”.
The lady does not face any charges in connection with this case.
Note that Sylvie Paradis occupied since the beginning of the year the vice-president of the Constituency Association of the Conservative Party of Quebec in Matane-Matapédia.
She has since resigned. The leader of the party, Éric Duhaime, had condemned the actions of this activist, whom he assured not to know personally.
