The brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro has announced on Saturday that he had been tested negative for the new coronavirus after he was diagnosed positive on 7 July, a healing which he attributes to his treatment with hydroxychloroquine.
Mr. Bolsonaro made the announcement on his Twitter account after having been subjected to a new test. “RT-PCR for SARS-CoV 2 : negative. Good day to all, ” he wrote, accompanied by a picture of him smiling, holding up a thumb and pointing to a box of hydroxychloroquine, at breakfast.
