More than 3 million cases of the novel coronavirus have been officially declared in Europe, of which more than half in Russia, the United Kingdom, Spain and Italy, according to a count taken by AFP from official sources on Thursday.
Europe remained the most affected region in the number of deaths: 206.714 dead.
