Some players under contract with the RE Virton have taken the liberty to unilaterally terminate the contractual relationship that binds them to the club,” said Virton. “Because of this, they become liable to pay a break fee provided for by the 1978 act on employment contracts for athletes-paid work (in principle, total wages still due) and a specific indemnity for the damage complementary caused to the club.”
The club says he has “commenced legal proceedings to ensure that these players should be sentenced to the payment of such compensation.”
