The president of the european Council Charles Michel convened an extraordinary summit on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 July to discuss the plan of recovery post-sars coronavirus from the EU and the budget 2021-2027, announced on Tuesday his spokesman.

The summit will be taking place more by video conferencing as it is the case since mid-march and the outbreak of the pandemic Covid-19 on european soil, but in the physical presence of the leaders of the Twenty-seven in Brussels, in the building Europa of the Board. The heads of State and government of the EU are engaged in a race against the clock to reach agreement before the end of July on this recovery plan is solid, despite the profound differences identified during a first Friday meeting.
