Four european countries were presented Saturday their own proposal for a stimulus plan to help the european Union overcome the crisis caused by the pandemic coronavirus, reaffirming their rejection of any mechanism of pooling european debt.
The netherlands, Austria, Denmark, and Sweden – referred to as the four “frugal” – wish emergency assistance for countries severely affected, in the form of loans punctual at favourable terms to be granted in two years, according to a proposal published by the office of the chancellor, the austrian Sebastian Kurz.
