The floor of Tokyo has asked the judges to audition Carole Ghosn, the wife of Carlos Ghosn, after the re-arrest of the former president of Nissan to suspicions of personal enrichment at the expense of the japanese car manufacturer, reported Sunday NHK.

According to the national television, the prosecutors suspect that Carlos Ghosn have made transit a part of the sums that it would have diverted via a company of which his wife Carole is one of the leaders, this is in order to buy a yacht and a boat.

Carlos Ghosn was re-arrested Thursday morning by prosecutors of Tokyo, who accuse him of having violated its professional obligations and to be caused to the Nissan financial losses of five million dollars ($4.45 million euros) between December 2015 and July 2018.

This new detention of the former CEO of Renault would be in connection with payment of the suspects made to a business partner of the Renault-Nissan alliance, in Oman, in the Middle East.

Ghosn has called his arrest “outrageous and arbitrary” and requested the assistance of the French government, which on Saturday called on Japan to respect the presumption of innocence and the rights of the businessman franco-lebanese-brazilian.

prosecutors have asked Carole Ghosn to be present at an interrogation as a witness, a request which she declined, reports NHK, which prompted them to request the judges to proceed to this examination.

No comment could be obtained in the immediate future with the prosecutor’s office of Tokyo.

Describing the re-arrest of her husband in an interview with the Sunday Newspaper , Carole Ghosn said to have refused to follow the prosecutors when they visited Thursday at the home of the couple. “When they wanted me to sign a mandate in japanese, I refused. And then they wanted to take me with them. On the advice of my lawyer, I refused”, she said.

Carole Ghosn, who according to the JDD arrived in Paris on Saturday morning, said he did not feel supported by France.
