JERSEY CITY — Two men were injured in a double shooting on Thursday evening, officials said.
The shooting was reported near Jewett and Monticello avenues just before 6:30 p.m., city spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill said.
Both victims, a 26-year-old Jewette Avenue resident and a 36-year-old Summit Avenue resident, were brought to Jersey City Medical Center to be treated for injuries that were not considered life-threatening, Morrill said.
The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
