An unknown person made off with a Persian rug valued at $2,000 from a Lehigh County storage facility.

Upper Macungie Township police said the theft occurred sometime between Aug. 17 to Feb. 7 at O’Brien’s Moving and Storage, 7066 Snowdrift Road. The victim is a 64-year-old Brentwood, Calif. woman.
The rug was being stored at the township facility and was missing upon delivery to California, police said.
Those with information are urged to call Upper Macungie Township police at 484-661-5911.
