Three people, including a firefighter, were injured late Sunday in a house fire in the Fernwood neighborhood on the Far South Side, officials said.
The fire started about 11 p.m. inside a home on LaSalle Street near 101st Street, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
Two people were injured in the fire, and both were taken to Roseland Community Hospital, according to the Chicago Fire Department. A firefighter was taken to Mercy Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
The fire was contained to the home, and it was struck within 30 minutes.
