BAYONNE — Police received four separate reports of car burglaries, as well as a vehicle that was stolen outright during a recent three-day span.

A car near Second Street and Avenue C was burglarized at around 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, while the next day saw two more car burglaries — one on the 800 block of Kennedy Boulevard, and another on the 1100 block of Avenue C. The two Sunday burglaries took place within four hours of each other, Bayonne Police Capt. Janine Foy said.

A car was then stolen from West 33rd Street at 4 p.m. on Monday and has yet to be recovered, said Foy, who would not provide the make and model of the vehicle.

A fourth vehicle break-in was reported about three hours later near 47th Street and Broadway, Foy said.

Foy would not comment on what type of property was stolen from the vehicles that were burglarized or on whether the burglaries appear to be related.
