"In search of billion lost." This could be the title of this short report - a "summary proceeding" in the administrative language of the Court of auditors on a dysfunction to 1.5 billion euros, which is produced by the end of 2017-early 2018. The public finances general Directorate (DGFiP) has discovered on 25 January 2018, an "anomaly" on "significant sums"regarding the rights of the mutation. That is to say, taxes on real estate transactions called improperly "notary fees".

The story does not lack spice. Not less than one and a half billion, thus, has purely and simply been forgotten on a provisional account of the State. It could not, therefore, be accounted for on time in budget revenues. But the sum was discovered in time, fortunately, to be integrated into the national accounts in the spring, those taken into account by Brussels.
