It will have a budget of 930,000 euros for 2023 and 2024

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, through the General Directorate of the Food Industry, has signed a new agreement with the Spanish Federation of Food and Beverage Industries (FIAB) for the promotion of food and beverage products in the international markets, through fairs and contests in 2023 and 2024.
Specifically, the total budget involved in organizing and holding the scheduled actions of this agreement will be 930,000 euros, as stated this Monday in the Official State Gazette (BOE).
In this way, the Ministry headed by Luis Planas will contribute 465,000 euros, of which 207,000 euros correspond to the 2023 financial year and the other 258,000 will be allocated to 2024, while FIAB will make a contribution of the same economic value to Agriculture.

This agreement tries to favor the competitiveness of the Spanish food and beverage industries in international markets, through the promotion and orientation to the consumption of agri-food products, making known the quality and variety of Spanish products.
