MADRID, 31 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Amazon reopens the doors of its logistics centers to citizens after two years of suspending these visits due to the pandemic, as reported by the e-commerce giant in a statement.

Specifically, the logistics centers in San Fernando de Henares (Madrid) and El Prat de Llobregat (Barcelona) resume their in-person tours, available since 2015, with the aim of continuing to show customers what happens inside them.

In addition, from now on it is also possible to visit the robotic logistics center of Dos Hermanas (Seville), inaugurated in 2020 and which since last year could be seen virtually.

“We believe it is important that everyone has the opportunity to learn how our centers work and the thousands of professionals who make it possible for orders to reach our customers when they need them”, explained the person in charge of the visits to the San Fernando center of Henares (Madrid), Sonia López.

Throughout the tour, organized following an order through six unique processes, visitors discover the technology and the work of the thousands of employees of a center of these characteristics.

The visits to the logistics centers last approximately 60 minutes and in each of them you walk approximately two kilometers, including flights of stairs. In the case of not being able to carry out the visit in person, the possibility of taking an ‘online’ tour is maintained. These guided tours receive more than two million visits a month from people from all over the world.
