MADRID, 16 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Amper confirmed this Monday to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) that it is in negotiations with EKS for a possible energy storage project, without “any corporate decision in this regard” having yet been adopted.

According to what the newspaper ‘El Confidencial’ published this Monday, Amper, through its subsidiary Elinsa, is negotiating with EKS an agreement to develop several energy storage plants in Galicia which, if successful, would translate into a four-year contract for up to 160 million euros, the largest order in Amper’s history.

The company has confirmed to the supervisor that there are negotiations with EKS for an energy storage project, but has specified that “to date there is no obligation to carry out said project, nor has any corporate decision been adopted in this regard.”

“There is therefore no certainty as to whether the project will be carried out or not,” Amper concludes in his communication to the CNMV.
