Duane FreyClackamas County Sheriff’s Office A Sandy man was arrested late Tuesday after shooting his wife Jojobet in the shoulder during an argument, police say.
Duane Frey, 56, told officers he accidentally shot Sarah Knapp, 50, in the shoulder with a .380 caliber pistol in their home in the 18200 block of Rachael Drive, according to Sandy police. He was later booked into the Clackamas County Jail on suspicion of second-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, menacing, reckless endangering and pointing a firearm at another person.
An OHSU Hospital spokesperson has not yet responded to a request for comment on Knapp’s condition.
