Atresmedia will propose to its general shareholders’ meeting, which is expected to be held on April 26, the distribution of a complementary dividend, charged to the results of 2022, in the amount of 0.22 euros per title, which will imply a total payment of 49.5 million euros.
As reported by the group to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) this Friday, this dividend will be paid on June 22 and complements the one already paid by the company on December 14 for an amount of 0.18 euros per share. action.
In this way, adding this interim dividend to the complementary dividend that it plans to approve at its April meeting, the total remuneration to Atresmedia shareholders charged to the results of 2022 will amount to 0.40 euros per share, with a global payment of something more than 90 million euros.
The group obtained a profit of 93.6 million euros in 2022 after making the provision for Corporate Tax corresponding to this year. Of this amount, 90 million have been allocated to the payment of dividends among its shareholders, and 3.57 million to voluntary reserves.
The Atresmedia shareholders’ meeting on April 26 will also vote on the re-election of the firm KPMG as external auditor and the approval of a new remuneration policy for the group’s administrators.
Likewise, the meeting will also proceed to vote on the re-election of Francisco Javier Bardají as executive director; Mauricio Casals as proprietary director at the proposal of the Pasa Cartera group (subsidiary of Planeta DeAgostini); of José Creuheras as executive director; of Marco Drago as proprietary director; Silvio González as executive director; Patricia Estany as an independent director, and Nicolás de Tavernost as a proprietary director at the proposal of the shareholder Ufa Film und Fernseh, GMBH, belonging to the RTL group.
