Seize the opportunities brought by AI and jointly build a green and reliable computing infrastructure
In the opening speech, Charles Yang, Senior Vice President of Huawei and President of Marketing, Sales and Services of Huawei Digital Power, noted that since ChatGPT ushered in the AI era, large models continue to push the limits of computing power and Smart computing industry is witnessing an unprecedented construction boom. According to forecasts, in the next five years 100 GW will be added to the global installed capacity of data centers and the market value will exceed $600 billion.
According to Charles, opportunities come with challenges. The main challenge for the data center sector is reliability and electricity. Data centers are moving from MW to GW. E2E data center reliability is more important than ever. In response to opportunities, Huawei will work with customers and partners to expand the industry space.

To meet the challenges, Huawei strives to create product-service ecosystem E2E data center solutions that offer rapid deployment, flexible cooling, green power and maximum reliability.
Currently, Huawei’s global service network covers more than 170 countries with more than 1,800 professional engineers, providing 24/7 technical support. With the N flagship service centers, Huawei has built a one-hour service radius for its customers.
The ecosystem is a key piece for a smart computing future where everyone wins. Huawei works with partners to develop comprehensive E2E solutions and offer customers comprehensive data center services.
During the summit, Huawei and the ASEAN Energy Center released a white paper on “Building the next generation of data center facilities in ASEAN.” The paper provides information on the status quo, challenges and trends of data centers in the ASEAN region, emphasizing that energy-saving and efficient products and solutions should be implemented. It also proposes future-oriented policy recommendations for data center markets.
In the ecosystem exhibition area, Huawei presented scenario-based solutions for large, medium and small-sized data centers, and demonstrated data center consulting, design, integrated development and delivery capabilities with dozens of ecosystem partners, including CIMC, Weichai, CSCEC and Huashi.
Huawei’s Outdoor PowerPOD exhibition vehicle made its global debut. Huawei’s Outdoor PowerPOD features container power, outdoor deployment, plug-and-play, and a high degree of protection and reliability. It has become the preferred option to decouple the architecture from the power supply.
A single tree cannot make a forest
AI is presenting great opportunities. By deepening the industry, adding partner ecosystems and making innovations applicable to transformations, Huawei will continue to help customers build reliable computing infrastructures, accelerate the industry to adopt AI and drive the digital era forward.
