The Controller Centricity 2022, the most relevant management control congress held in Spain and Latin America, organized by the Global Chartered Controller Institute (GCCI), has concluded that the main challenge Controllers face is data analysis with the support of technological tools for companies to build the appropriate strategy that allows them to survive in times of high uncertainty such as the current one. Risk control and management The Professor of Financial Economics and Accounting at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), Prosper Lamothe, has opened the day stating that the Controller has to introduce a risk measurement model that allows multiple scenarios to be generated and to analyze the correct coverage for each one of them. In this way, “it will facilitate decision-making that prevents companies from going bankrupt”.
