Against a transfer by 107,000 euros, maximum prescribed by the law and negotiated with the Brussels prosecutor’s office, the ex-CEO of Proximus has chosen to put an end to criminal prosecutions for insider trading, which weighed on it, report The Echo and De Tijd on Wednesday.

Dominique Leroy appeared on Tuesday in front of the council chamber to offer a plea bargain negotiated with the Brussels prosecutor’s office in its case of insider trading. The president, Jean Coumans, however, has not approved the settlement, reserving its decision on 15 July.
