Dagny Lüdemann, head of knowledge and digital at time Online, has been awarded Universitas Prize for science journalism. The Hanns Martin Schleyer Foundation honors her long-standing work as a builder between science and society. Its commitment is due to fact that “scientific topics are increasingly perceived and reflected in younger generation,” foundation writes in its explanatory memorandum.

The prize winners are determined by a jury – you cannot apply. The award is aimed at journalists who understand how to portray scientifically researched in such a way that it is also recognizable in its significance for society.
