A Lowe’s home-improvement store is slated for Lake Nona Landing, according to Tavistock Development Company.

The store, which will have a lumber yard and garden center, will be at the Narcoossee Road shopping center just south of the new Walmart Supercenter.

Other new tenants at Lake Nona Landing include: TJ Maxx, Mattress One, Firehouse Subs, Anthony Jewelers, UPS, GNC and Rubio’s.

Certus Senior Living has started site work on memory-care communities in Mount Dora and Orange City, with plans underway for another in Orlando’s Waterford Lakes and negotiations on a site in Longwood.

With an initial investment of $91 million, the company launched site acquisition for seven facilities throughout the state.

In Central Florida, locations include 675 Veterans Memorial Parkway in Orange City, which is slated to open with 64 suites and 42,616 this year. A similar-sized senior-living community is planned to open in Orlando’s Waterford Lakes area, 11017 Lake Underhill Drive, in the spring of next year. Certus plans to open a facility in Mount Dora, at 4901 Lake Park Court, also in the spring of 2018. It did not release details on its proposed Longwood site. 

City Furniture purchased 7.48 acres in Altamonte Springs for $4.9 million and plans to build a retail center with a wine bar and fulfillment center with 28,000 square feet. Plans also call for a two-story office building. Previously used as a maintenance yard, the property is visible from Interstate 4. Trevor Hall, Jr., director of land services with Colliers International Central Florida, represented the seller.

A Miami group purchased a warehouse portfolio with two buildings and 111,688 square feet at Lake Holden Industrial Park, 523 West Grant St. and 444 27th St., Orlando, for $5.85 million. 

Illinois-based Division Street LLCI sold the property and was represented by CBRE’s David Murphy and Monica Wonus.    

At 850 Trafalgar Court in Maitland Center, the Federal Emergency Management Agency expanded into an additional 4,069 square feet to take a total of 12,885 share feet for 16 months.  Tiffany Zullo Robinson represented the landlord. FEMA was represented by the U.S. General Services Administration.

In addition, Northwest Federal Credit Union leased 2,888 square feet in the building for three years. Zullo Robinson represented the landlord and the credit union was represented by Solomon Attaway of NAI Realvest.

A Canadian nursery company purchased 32 acres at 3477 Plymouth Sorrento Road, Apopka for $410,000.

Rick Gonzalez, with Crosby & Associates, represented the buyer. FCG Realty represented the seller, based in Paris. 

Vintage Ironworks, a provider of iron products including doors, leased 14,000 square feet at 671 Newbury Port Ave., Altamonte Springs.
